El Pajas

Puerto Velasco Ibarra

Featuring a garden, bar and views of sea, El Pajas is located in Puerto Velasco Ibarra, 200 metres from Playa Negra. The accommodation provides room service and a tour desk for guests.

The inn will provide guests with air-conditioned rooms offering a wardrobe, a safety deposit box, a flat-screen TV, a patio and a private bathroom with a shower. Instead of a day trip to Floreanna, plan to stay two nights (as the ferry isn't daily). The island only has about 110 residents, and they all live in one town, so it is a quiet, off-the-beaten-track place. El Pajas is typically quirky and slightly ramshackle, a collection of buildings with an adjoining open-air bar and a small garden with a hammock. The room was surprisingly clean and large with all that was necessary. The team (especially Karen) running the hotel was exceptional in terms of friendliness, helpfulness, and assistance. They arranged local trips for us and even met us at the quayside when we arrived, which surprised us. Everything about this small hotel was relaxed, casual and contributed towards a fantastic visit to this unique island

Black Beach House

Floreana

Located in Floreana, Black Beach House features a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and a tour desk for guests.

All units are equipped with air conditioning, a fridge, an oven, a coffee machine, a shower, free toiletries and a wardrobe. Guest rooms at the inn come with a private bathroom and bed linen. Black Beach House and La Floreana in general is a perfect place if you'd like to have a calm, pleasant stay in the beautiful, wild Galapagos surrounding. It is all so peaceful and you can have a picturesque walk along the coast, snorkel with turtles or hike the inland forest. I loved the house and the location, and the owner! Ingrid is really pleasant to talk to and she saved me with a sandwich upon my arrival! That was sooo nice :)
