Sigchos
Located in Sigchos, Hosteria San Jose de Sigchos has a garden, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi. A hot tub and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. The inn features an indoor pool, sauna, karaoke and a shared lounge. Beautiful old hacienda. Nice walk with horses and great views above the hacienda. We experienced problems with our credit cards at the time of payment. The lady at the reception proved very friendly, patient and helpful.
Zumbagua

The best value of money during this trip. I reserved a bed, but instead they gave me a private room. It's small and in the basement, but for the price I paid it's definitely worth it. Free coffee and snacks anytime of the day. Nice warm shower. The staffs are extremely kind and helpful.
Latacunga

This place is amazing for the history connected with it. It is a real hacienda, with much of the original antique furniture. The staff are so professional and friendly, we felt well cared for. Dinner and breakfast were very good, beds super comfy, and a fireplace in every room which the staff lit for us anytime we wanted it. Great experience, close to Cotopaxi volcano. Worth the cost!
Option to purchase Turkish steam room and sauna for 2$ and packed lunches for the hike for $3. Wonderful dinner and the family who was running the place including staff were very kind and friendly. Really quiet when my husband and I stayed.
Right at the trailhead of the Quilatoa loop. About 1 km away from Sigchos and sitting on a ridge, it possesses amazing mountain views. I was never tired looking at the mountains and clouds during my stay. The amenity was fairly simple, but decent enough for you to have a good sleep before kicking the trail. They also provided dinner and breakfast, plus purified water for hikers to fill up. Great place to stay if you'd like to arrive in Sigchos before start hiking the next day!
Everything was great! Delicious breakfast and dinner, amazing view, best hot shower in Ecuador, great stuff and very clean room Surprisingly I was all alone in the entire hotel. Highly recommend this place!
Family run hostel. Room was basic but clean and comfortable. Staff spoke no English and communication was a little tricky. Location was great for hiking the Quilotoa Loop. Able to do some self service laundry (washing machine + drier) for free which was great mid hike! Included breakfast and dinner were good with plenty of food to go around.
I stayed with my friend and my son and we all had a wonderful time! We enjoyed our time at the country inn more than our time in the Galapagos. It was so homey and the staff is so helpful. And the food is FANTASTIC.

The staff and owner were very friendly and extremely helpful. Dinner and breakfast is included which makes the deal even better. If you are doing the Quilotoa loop this is the perfect place to stay in Sigchos. You can also request a lunch to go for the next day for a very reasonable price.
The host are very nice and helpful. I had a late bus from Quito and arrived late at 9, Victor came to pick me up and they still cooked me a very nice dinner. Victor also provided me with very helpful information about Quilotoa loop. The room itself is also a nice one.
Modern, warm bedrooms with powerful hot showers. Owners were friendly and helpful. Food was amazing!!! Big breakfast, packed lunch and dinner was delicious
Beautiful location to start our quilotoa loop in the morning, breakfast and dinner was amazing. Everyone was super helpful and kind about our awful Spanish, and the dogs were super cute. Rustic facilities, warm fire, comfortable bed.. perfect for our needs! Muchas gracias!
