Situated next to Schackenborg Castle in the picturesque village of Møgeltønder, this inn dates back to 1687. Location is great and the room that we got was very spacious and lovely - we loved the old school vibes! The bed was super comfy with fluffy pillows and warm covers. I appreciated the option to open windows and the blinds as I like to sleep in the dark. Breakfast didn’t have tons of options but all the staples were available; eggs, sausage, bacon, rolls + yoghurt and cereal and fresh fruit. No fresh juice but bottled drinks in several flavors were pretty good!

Excellent location along the bike trail . Room was large , very clean and had excellent external as well as interior lighting. Comfortable bed and clean, bright toilet . Reception was very friendly. Stored bike right in room . Breakfast was very good and with multiple food options . On-site restaurant was quite good with reasonable price point .

The hotel had everything you need. The quality of the breakfast was really good. Very complete: bread, eggs, hotcakes. They have also nice facilities for kids inside and outside.

This hotel is set in a renovated 1790s building. The hotel restaurant offers traditional Danish cuisine and imported Italian wines. Beautiful setting with great historical significance
