Christiansfeld
This 16th-century inn is situated 3 km from the town of Christiansfeld. It offers old world charm in a quiet setting. Both central Kolding and Grønninghoved Beach are 20 minutes’ drive away.
A tea/coffee maker, TV and work desk are featured in each guest room at Den Gamle Grænsekro Inn. The up-to-date bathroom includes either a bathtub or shower. Several rooms include a flat-screen TV and overlook the green surroundings.
Love the place and the staff. It was very cozy and breakfast was good.
Ballum
The rooms in the inn are fitted with a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, rooms at Ballum Slusekro also boast free WiFi, while certain rooms come with a sea view. At the accommodation rooms are fitted with bed linen and towels. Everything was great: great host, nice food, slept well. Whilst you might not want to live in a place like this, - barren in a flat landscape with no trees, this is what makes it unique. Would happily visit again!
Løgumkloster
Bicycles are available free of charge at this inn and the area is popular for hiking. Schackenborg Castle and the German border are both within 20 minutes’ drive. Sønderborg Airport is an hour’s drive away. First time during our trip in Denmark we have so many vegetarian options during breakfast and during dinner. Super! It is a special place, with special atmosphere, completely quaiet, near the old medieval church with very interesting history. Very friedly and practical arrangement of the room. Absolutely quaiet.
Tønder
Situated next to Schackenborg Castle in the picturesque village of Møgeltønder, this inn dates back to 1687. It offers free Wi-Fi, tastefully decorated rooms and a gourmet restaurant.
Local produce and game from the surrounding woods are served in Slotskro’s restaurant, which specializes in Danish and French cuisine. The restaurant is very popular, and dinner table reservation is required subject to availability.

Very good quality on ALL levels at a very fair price. The breakfast and service was superb! The hotel is located near the railway station and major high ways and include chargers for electric cars.

Dating back to 1566, this cosy inn is in Padborg, just 3 km from the German border. All rooms have a flat-screen TV, and WiFi is free throughout the premises.
The historic Gendarmstien hiking trail runs right by the inn. The Danfoss Universe scientific theme park is 25 km away, while the Frøslevlejren World War II museum is less than a 10-minute drive.
The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the staff, especially Sofia who checked us in, were very welcoming and genuinely friendly. Dinner was excellent 👌🏽
Skærbæk
At the inn, the rooms are fitted with a patio with a garden view. All rooms are equipped with a private bathroom with a shower, while some rooms come with a kitchen with a fridge. At Døstrup Landevejskro & Motel rooms come with bed linen and towels. The only good thing here was breakfast..

The area was nice and the atmosphere was relaxed and kid friendly. The islandic horse center was affordable with a wide range of tours for both beginner and experienced riders. The pool area, changing rooms and water was clean and well managed, sadly the steambath was out of order.

What a place and a perfect night's stay near our finish of the Danish Baltic Sea Route. So enjoyable to have everything perfect for a good night. Had one of the most delicious dinners in the hotel we've had in years. Totally 10+.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, the suite I stayed in was very comfortable. I had dinner there both nights and the food was amazing. But most importantly the staff were fantastic, really helpful, friendly and obviously proud of the hotel. In particular I would like to thank Cynthia who really went out of her way to help me both at Check in and Check out
Comfortable facilities, good location, amazing breakfast, the restaurant is also very good for having dinner. The staff was gentle, as almost everyone we met in Denmark (very kind people).
We loved how peaceful the surroundings were and how kind the hosts were. We enjoyed a relaxing day by going to the pancake house and playing mini golf (5 minutes away), walking 5 minutes to the harbor for dinner, and then watching the sunset from the jacuzzi.
Absolutely fantastic. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was cosy, clean, beautifully styled (rustic). Breakfast in a separate building, but just across the small, stunning street and the food was tasty. Nice and quiet area for a short walk.
Good location if you have transport. Comfortable accommodation, very clean, large bathroom. The inn had a good restaurant. Excellent breakfast & reasonably priced + good evening meals.
