Room was huge,bathroom had the size of living room. It's classic Bavarian guesthouse, with stylish massive wooden beds,doors,ceilings..... Very impressive decoration and style everywhere around you We used the restaurant for dinner which was packed mostly with locals, the food was very good ,portions generous, beer tasty. We also had delicious and tasty breakfast which I believe costs 8 euros per person,but it was worthy every penny Gasthoff is located in very touristy attractive area,we went to Neuschweinstein castle the next day and it was not far away from there. Our stay was nice amd calm,restaurant was vibrant and full of life....the morning you wake up with church bells tolling across the street and roosters from nearby homes announcing the sunrise and dawn of new day

My room was very comfortable, clean, and cozy decorated Bavarian style. The breakfast assortment buffet style had such a great variety with delicious german food that was put together with lots of care each and every day.. The service was friendly & outstanding. The restaurant offers a delicious Bavarian menu, which is very beneficial if you don't want to leave the house again after a long day. Landgasthof Augustiner is located in the heart of Oberstdorf only 6 min away from the train/ bus station. There are many stores and other restaurants around that can all be reached by foot. I came by train and did not need a car to get around.
