I cannot say that we liked anything. We arrived 45 minutes late due to traffic diversions on our 700 km drive and the Pension was completely shut with no one in the building. I called the number given on the booking form and received a text back to say that they could not answer.

Completely different than standard hotel. Feeling more like being at cottage. Impossible to compare with standard hotel. Definitely wanna visit again....
The placement was really good, the pension is located in a very quiet area, near a lake. The parking was very easy, there are plenty of spots to leave the car there. The room was clean and nicely kept.

The location is exceptional. The breakfast was great. The owner is extremely kind. He offered to even drive us to the beginning of our hike since there were no buses running on Sundays. Overall a very positive experience.
The location near the trails in Nové Město, we have not to use the car. We could store our bike in the garage. There is a gril for your good dinner.
The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, giving local advice as where to have dinner, etc. We were upgraded to an even quieter room overlooking the garden, and indeed it was nicely calm. There was complimentary water and coffee/tea in the room. For the breakfast, they made us feel important as guests by making sure we as vegetarians had choices as well.
We came for the biathlon competitions and booked 2 rooms as it was 4 of us. Rooms were pretty decent and great for what we needed them - mainly to just sleep in the evening. We were right above the bar, but once you close the door you couldn't hear much of the noise so that was good. Breakfast was fine, there were different options and we also ate dinner in the restaurant twice so food was good there as well. Location is great, close to train station and right across grocery store. Would book again if coming in the area.
reconstructed factory into hotel made our stay even more interesting. Lady at reception desk gave us lot of tips for local coffee shop, where to go for dinner and was very kind. Enjoyed rooms and stay.
Great price, staff, room, breakfast and dinner. Very close to the local castle. Nice castle and town.
My friends and I really enjoyed our time there at the pension Sykovec. The staff and the owner of the pension were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner were really good and various food were served. i highly recommend this place.
