Situated in Naranjo, within 40 km of Poas National Park and 22 km of Catarata Tesoro Escondido, Rancho Amalia features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for... This such a hidden gem! The farm is absolutely beautiful and came as a surprise. This was our first stop out of San Jose and I really recommend it. We visited Poas, Catarata del Toro and the Blue Falls before checking in for the night at a lovely cottage. The owner is just lovely and so friendly. We had dinner at the restaurant at the farm - delicious and fresh! We slept like babies in the super comfy bed and in the morning we enjoyed drinking coffee grown at the farm whilst watching hummingbirds feed. The breakfast was delicious and in a beautiful setting with the view of the valley. Absolutely magical.

Located in Fortuna, 4.3 km from La Fortuna Waterfall, Le Petit Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms and a garden. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. Excellent hotel which was very good value. Great having pool. A little out of the town but easy 10 mins walk. Road could be a little noisy but it was exceptionally clean with a great kitchen. Staff were great

Arenal Garden Lodge is located in El Castillo de La Fortuna within the Arenal Volcano National Park. Free WiFi access is available in all areas. The view from this property was exceptional which made the trip very worth while. The garden area is beautiful. Even though zip lining is behind, it is very quiet. The area is incredibly quiet and peaceful at night. Sergio was excellent and incredibly helpful.

Situated in Alajuela City and within 32 km of Poas National Park, Duerme tranquilo has a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. Owner waited up for me when arriving late. Showed me the room and bathroom. Very simple place to stay overnight. In the morning let me smoke outside on the patio while she prepared a simple breakfast for me and had a ride waiting for me.
