The owner was very kind and accommodating. We got a very good deal for the price and the size of the apartment. The location is a little far from El Centro but it’s only 10 mins by a taxi or Uber for the price of £3. The area looks a little sketchy but as long as you take precautions and don’t walk around with expensive jewellery, cameras or with your phone constantly out, it’s perfectly safe at day and night. The locals are very friendly but not used to seeing tourists on that area. There are also some good restaurants just 5 mins up the street and a supermarket. As long as you don’t mind staying in a rough-looking area (3k) from the centre I’d recommend staying here.

It’s a very lovely hostel, different from all the others, very colorful, with lots of musical details. Our room is perfect for the family, with a very comfortable en-suite bathroom. The best part is the very friendly staff and its location; the beach is beautiful, and you can tell they’ve cleaned the stones off it. It’s worth mentioning that they have internet and electricity, which many places don’t.

Good value for money, clean and comfortable. Loved the rooftop with a nice view on the big tree nearby and the hammocks to chill. Mosquito net in the room. Staff was really nice too.

LA MEDELLIN HOSTAL ligger i Cartagena de Indias og har gratis wi-fi overalt samt værelser med aircondition. The Owner was Awesome. I cant express my gratitude in words because it wont be enough. I felt so good living there and he helped me with whatever i needed. I definetly would recommend this place to any traveler who wants an affordable nice place to live here in Cartagena
