Peacefully situated, the 3-star-superior Hotel Bettmerhof in Bettmeralp at 1957 metres above sea level offers panoramic Matterhorn views and free WiFi. The breakfast was a feast! A buffet of delights with the added plus of a coffee order plus eggs or crepes of my choice. The staff were attentive, efficient and friendly, and the hotel had a lot of really nice little details that I didn't expect. It was wonderful to sit out on the terrace in the warm sun with a drink and a good book. The view was incredible. I really loved Bettmerhof and I am highly recommending it to my family and friends.

Situated in the Lötschental Valley, Bietschhorn offers room with wooden furniture in the village of Kippel. The Lauchernalp Ski Area is a 2-minute drive away. The staff were very attentive and helpful

This family-run hotel is located in the small mountain village of Bourg-St-Pierre, at the foot of the Grand Combin (4,314 metres). I stayed here while hiking the Tour des Combins. For some reason, I was the only one here! I'm not sure why. It's clean, comfortable, and well priced. The couple who run it are very nice. The rooms have both regular plugs and USB chargers. I had a balcony all to myself. I had eaten a late lunch, so I didn't try the restaurant, but the self-serve breakfast they set out for me was delicious. I would definitely stay here again.
