Location and night view was amazing if the sky is clear, you could see the stars at night, the staff were friendly and helpful, WiFi is good, room was cozy and warm. Breakfast was great as well.

Located in Bürglen, 45 km from Lucerne Station, der GASTHOF provides accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. The property is set 46 km from Lion Monument, 46 km from KKL Culture and Convention Centre Lucerne and 46 km from Chapel Bridge. The inn offers mountain views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available. Location was perfect for me and I wanted to do a hiking trail just 10 km from there. Situated on the street, very easy to find, big parking. Shared bathroom was less convenient, but it was very clean and had all the possible toiletries you might need. Basic and smallish but clean room.
Single room with big TV screen and washer inside. the restaurant in the hotel also allow for a nice dinner if you do not want to move. Breakfast was good.

This was a halfway stopping point between Italy and Germany. It was a convenient place to stop right after the Gottardo Tunnel. It was easy to find. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived after 8:30 pm, when the kitchen closed, so we missed dinner, but they made us a lovely sandwich and served us some beer. There was a lovely patio terrace with a nice view. The breakfast was served in the updated modern restaurant.

Hotel located in a quiet little village in a beautiful scenery. Breakfast was delicious. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and that was lovely. Staff very friendly.
We have choosen to have an overnight before the Gottard while going to Italy. For this hotel is well located. Small convenient ‘village’ hotel. The personel is super friendly and helpful. We also had dinner in the hotel as no other option in the village and we were happy with our choices. The room was super clean and very new equipement and very noice cancelling windows as river next to the room.
Beautiful views, and parking for lots of motorbikes in their barn. Stayed in an 'annex' at the rear which had an ensuite. Pretty rustic, but perfectly fine. Dinner was plentiful and well cooked. The access road has a couple of fairly hairy bends, but do able on a motorbike.
Pension Bergheim is located beautifully above the valley and surrounded by breathtaking mountains, and even though we only stayed for one night, we enjoyed the surroundings tremendously. The Gasthaus is cozy, the room was cozy and comfortable, and everything was extremely clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace and having a very good dinner - the food was excellent.
