Located in the centre of Tesserete, the family-run Ristorante Stazione is just 50 metres from Tesserete Train Station. Fantastic place. For sure simpler than a big name hotel but super friendly, clean and comfortable. For me it was the perfect place to stay in a beautiful area. Super happy.

Situated right at the lake promenade, only a few steps from the ship mooring and Locarno's Piazza Grande, the Al Pozz offers you superb views of Lake Maggiore. I loved the attention to detail and all the help with travelling from another country. I even got quick answers to questions before I arrived. ‘Great holiday destination, close to much dining.

Rooms are very simple and clean. Views from rooms are outstanding. Hike was excellent! We will certainly come back!

Locanda Gandriese is set in Gandria, within 26 km of Mendrisio Station and 27 km of Villa Carlotta. Beautiful and quaint location. Easy to get to Lugano. Very good restaurant and friendly staff.
