Very accommodating hosts in a beautiful location midway between Interlaken and Lucern. Absolutely stunning views. Rooms were spacious and very clean. One room was beautifully remodeled, the other two were older but still very nice. The historic guesthouse is family owned and run and the love this family has for their guests is very evident. We had a travel delay that kept us from arriving while the restaurant was still serving dinner, but the hosts offered to make us cold sandwiches to have when we arrived. When we arrived, they had the sandwiches ready and offered a few other options (salad, appetizers), which was greatly appreciated!
Alpnach
Offering a restaurant, Landgasthof Schlüssel Alpnach is located in Alpnach, at the foot of Pilatus Mountain. Free WiFi access is available. Featuring a bath or shower, private bathroom also comes with free toiletries. You can enjoy mountain view from the room. Extras include a desk and bed linen. The hotel had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The woman who served us breakfast was exceptionally friendly and attentive, which made our mornings delightful. The location was also very convenient for accessing Mount Pilatus.
Engelberg
Set in Engelberg, 5.6 km from Titlis Rotair Cable Car, Gasthaus Schwand offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Located around 40 km from Lucerne Station, the inn with free WiFi is also 41 km away from Lion Monument. Guests can enjoy mountain views. Room was very good and the location was excellent

Located opposite the train station in the peaceful town of Giswil, Hotel Bahnhof is just a 20-minute walk from Lake Sarnen. It features a restaurant and a large garden.

Great location hotel is right next to the river. From our balcony, we have the river and the Mountain View. Great parking available. breakfast was typical European breakfast. It was good enough for us.

Delicious specialities from Switzerland and the Obwalden region can be enjoyed in the restaurant. Breakfast is served daily in the sister hotel, which is 150 metres away.
Wonderful hotel. We got an upgrade, so many xmas presents, an unforgettable view and priceless memories. Everything was excellent.
Comfortable apartment, well equipment in the kitchen. Large table for lunch and dinner with my kids. 9 minutes of walk to the Titlis cable car station and train station, 8 minutes of walk to the COOP super market. Many hike trails around. We stayed for 5 nights, and there was absolutely no reason to use our car, which parked at the apartment's parking during the vacation.
Great location close to Titlis gondola. Hostel itself has parking, games/table tennis/outside area/balcony. Clean beds and washrooms, quiet in summer but well setup with breakfast and optional dinner. Really enjoyed my stay.
Exactly suited to our purposes - a stop-over on our hiking trail! Excellent, quiet location, tasty half board dinner, impressive breakfast buffet - particularly the smoothies!

I love absolutely everything about this place! Nothing can beat the views from this apartment. The apartment is spacious, clean and has everything you need. During our stay, we could cook every dinner thank to well-equipped kitchen here. The location is about 50 minutes drive to Interlaken town or 30 minute to Brienz. Close to a big COOP supermarket. Host is friendly and helpful.
Excellent location to visit Engelberg and Mount Titlis. Very helpful and nice staff that helped us with a last minute request about our dog. Very nice a cozy restaurant where you can have dinner and where breakfast is served in the morning.
Anja is very friendly host. she replied rather quickly and flexible in check in time. We received a welcome wine and water, so nice of them! The view from the place is breathtaking, just like you see in the picture. you will get huge space for 2 couples - there are lounge, dinner table, working kitchen, huge bedroom, everything you need, even some board games to play with. You can park your car in the premises also very nice.
Cozy hotel, delicious breakfast and dinner, 10 min walk to the ski lift. Excellent customer oriented staff.
The place is spotless clean, feels very relaxed and homely. There is also a very caring and helpful management team. the idea to offer guests a possibility of preparing their own meals during the stay is great. It gives one flexibility, and significantly reduces the price, especially if you have a smaller budget , do not want to dine out every night or are a family with children. The kitchen is equipped with everything one may need to.prepare a full dinner, even if you want to bake a cake 😄
