Irina and Angelo are the consummate hosts and you can tell that they tastefully designed their villa for comfort and convenience. Villa Giade has been open for only a couple of years and the care that was taken in designing it shows in every detail! Adding to the convenience of their location is the restaurant (with a beautiful patio) located within the same building. Sit back and enjoy a fantastic meal prepared by Chef Angelo and son, Luca. Our first nights dinner was so good that we opted to do the “Blind Dinner” the second night. Angelo did not disappoint! Irina’s eye for design carries over from the villa to the restaurant where it can be appreciated right down to the dishes and flatware! Our visit was in the off season but it was easy to see why this would be the perfect place to come back to after a day in St. Moritz!

Located in Vezza dʼOglio, 20 km from Tonale Pass, Locanda La Posta Nöa - B&B provides accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking, a terrace and a bar. Very good breakfast - set me up for the day nicely. Great coffee. Nice room and easy self check-in. Totally recommended!

Väikese sauna ja päikeseterrassiga hotell Landgasthof Staila asub Müstairi orus Fulderas. Murdmaasuusarajad on kohe majutusasutuse juures. Minschunsi suusapiirkonda viib tasuta buss. Fantastic service, and a spectacular view from the room.

Gasthaus Spinas on maalähedane majutusasutus, mis asub Spinase raudteejaama vastas. Majutusasutust ümbritseb UNESCO maailmapärandi nimistusse kuuluv Graubündeni kanton. Hotel is situated in a beautiful valley. The hotel is nice, and the shared bathrooms, where clean and well equipped. The owner is friendly and the food at the restaurant was delicious. Breakfast was also great! Good value for being so close to the larger resorts for skiing and other winter and summer activities.

Peresõbralik Gasthaus Alpina asub vaikses ja eraldatud kohas Tschappinas Grisoni Alpide keskel. Hotellis on mitteametlik õhkkond, maitsev Šveitsi toit, saun ja tasuta parkla. Sandra is an amazing host - going that extra mile to make your stay pleasant. We loved the place - it is furnished and decorated with love and such attention to detail. You do feel welcomed and taken care of. I wasn’t aware that there was additional charge for sauna - my bad, I probably missed it in the description. We loved the food - the portions were fair and with three course dinners we were hardly managing to eat if all. Sandra kindly offered a full story behind each dish (whether it was traditional Swiss, which region, if locally grown, home made)! Sandra also mentioned the Tchapinna ski area which I recommend if you need to take it easy or have any beginners in your group (CHF36 ski pass which is great for Switzerland. Only ski lifts which is tiring after a while. Still a great day skiing just 10 min from Gasthause Alpina). 40km of piste but not as diverse and large as Flims Laax Falera where we preferred to spend most of our days (CHF90 per day). A fantastic stay!

We received a warm welcome on arrival by the owner with an immediate offer to take us to the train station complimentary. That was only the start of all the personal touches. Twin room had 3 beds in. We requested if they could cook us a omelette or fried eggs instead of the eggs they served for breakfast. It was no bother and done with a smile. Instead of just dropping us off at the railway station the manager carried our luggage and introduced us to the man behind ticket counter. All these small and so important things are not seen other. Well done from seasoned worldwide travellers.
