On a cliffside at 1650 meters height in the Bernese Oberland Alps, Mürren is a secret that has been coveted for decades by adventurers from all around the world. Every detail was well tought. From design, to decor, soaps , creams , towels, to attitude of the staff we interacted with ( Alex, Andre, Mikaela, Miquela) and of other we did not interact with but did their job superbly. We stayed 3 nights, would have loved to stay 3 more, but hotel was fully booked and I booked without much antelation. It is not a 3 star hotel, as stated. Best hotel I have ever been , would give it 5 stars , because it is located far away it is stated as 3, but is a fine hotel . 5 stars to me !! Ahh we ate at other restaurants in Mürren and Gimmelwald. The hotel restaurant is better and offers better value and dinning experience for a couple. Just make sure to make a reservation for the restaurant !!

Set in Gadmen, within 35 km of Giessbachfälle and 31 km of Freilichtmuseum Ballenberg, Tälli Hütte offers accommodation with a terrace and as well as free private parking for guests who drive. the hut is in a beautiful location, the staff was so friendly and helpful and the provided dinner and breakfast were delicious! Very well located to explore the area!

The Hotel Steinbock is located at the edge of Lauterbrunnen opposite the train and cable car station for Grütschalp, Mürren and the Schilthorn. Seurue sai huoneet kahdesta eri rakennuksesta. Toinen oli päärakennuksessa, jossa myös aamiainen tarjottiin. Tämä huone oli narisevien portaiden päässä kolmannessa kerroksessa. Huone oli pienehkö, mutta meillä oli oma parveke ja aivan huikea näköala. Hotelli sijaitsi erittäin keskeisellä paikalla keskustassa eli juna-aseman ja hissin vieressä. Tuosta olisi loistava pääsy vuorille myös niille, jotka haluavat vain mennä katsomaan maisemia. Toinen huone oli uudemmassa rakennuksessa ja paljon nykyaikaisempi. Heilläkin oli pieni parveke, josta näkymä oli hyvä. Myös aamiainen oli hyvä.

Viihtyisiä huoneita ja maukasta ruokaa tarjoava Alpenblick Hotel sijaitsee noin 600 metrin päässä Grindelwaldin keskustasta ja aivan laskettelurinteen ja bussipysäkin vieressä. Perfect location, close to First gondola and to city center. Owners are really nice, and beds were cosy. View from the balcony is spectacular. Great value for the money!

Directly on the shore of Lake Brienz, Boutique Hotel Bellevue Iseltwald offers a sun terrace. Hotellin sijainti järven rannalla oli kaunis. Hotellin pitäjät olivat todella ystävällisiä ja aamupalalla oli hyvää leipää. Sisäänkirjautuminen oli sujuvaa. Ilmainen parkkipaikka.

Goldswilin Gasthof Schönegg on tyypillinen sveitsiläinen lomamökkityylinen hotelli, joka tarjoaa rustiikkityylisiä huoneita ja suuren terassin, jolta avautuu panoraamanäköala. Perfect view, good breakfast and friendly staffs.

Set in Lenk, Berghaus Iffigenalp has a garden and terrace. Guests can enjoy mountain views. The property was nice and rustic. Berghaus Iffigenalp really made you feel like you were staying in a mountain lodge. Driving to the property have your camera ready because the scenery is amazing. The breakfast cost a little extra but was well worth the price.

Situated in Gadmen, 25 km from Giessbachfälle, "Terrasse" Nessental features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. This pet-friendly inn also has free WiFi. An exceptional place to stay for those who want to visit and hike in the mountains area. Close to water falls and national parks. The owners went out of their way to find the right room for us, and upgraded our room for free. The breakfast is excellent and even included gluten-free options. They were very helpful with advice on touring the area. It is suitable for those looking for a country side stay. We look forward to staying at this place again.

Set in Guttannen, 28 km from Giessbachfälle, Hotel Bären Guttannen offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. It’s right next to the bus stop, the room looks exactly like the pictures, all the staff was kind, helpful and Guttannen itself it’s adorable! The breakfast was ok, the shower and bathroom were always clean and working perfectly!
