Built in 1586, the Gasthof zur Waag in Bad Zurzach is located close to the Rhine River, on the edge of the Black Forest. This was a lovely hotel in an old building with a beautiful courtyard. Our room was quite comfortable. Our hosts and all staff were so accommodating and helpful and the food was exceptional for dinner and breakfast! It was close to the train station to take a day trip to Zurich. I just wish we could have stayed longer.

Especially the staff and the owners of the hotel were very hospitable and amazing people. Right after the hotel it was a very beautiful church. Hope to come again
