Locals very welcoming. 206 was the best!

I expected a regular hostel, but was met with something looking more like a hotel! The owners and staff were all super friendly, giving loads of tips on what to do in Tofino. The rooms were clean and tidy, just like the common area and kitchen. We were able to park our bikes in the backyard and also leave our wetsuits to dry in the drying room overnight, which was very kind! The location is also perfect: in the middle of "downtown" Tofino, with restaurants, shopping and grocery store nearby.

This hotel is located on Long Lake, 10 minutes from downtown Nanaimo, British Columbia. It serves a daily continental breakfast and all rooms feature a lake view from a balcony or patio. Where it is situated. Staff were excellent.

Everything was well maintained daily and I always felt safe and cozy being there.

Quality Inn terletak di Nanaimo, 12km dari Wildplay Element Park dan 3.3km dari Petroglyph Park. Exactly what we were looking for. A nice, clean, comfortable room located near downtown and the harbor for a reasonable price with parking. A few semi-related tips. Neck Point Park is about 15-20 mins away with incredible views of the ocean and potential to spot marine life (we just missed a pod of orcas). Also the Save on Food in the Nanaimo suburb was the best grocery store we visited in the island/Vancouver/Calgary if you are cooking your own meals.

Meares Vista Inn is a family-operated motel located in Tofino. Free WiFi and free private parking are available at this laid-back property. There is a shared kitchen at the property. Easy location, a nice walk into downtown, on a pretty lake, super comfortable bed, easy check in/out

features an on-site sushi restaurant and bar, this unique hotel is located on Tofino Harbor. The hotel is made up of recycled bricks from downtown Vancouver and each room is individually decorated. The inn was very centrally located and within walking distance of anything in town. Plus, from the patio there was a fantastic view of the harbour. I didn’t have a water facing room but was told I could make myself at home on the restaurant patio in the evening to take in the views. I was even offered a throw blanket to keep me warm as the evenings were chilly in September. There were multiple maps available of the town and surrounding area and staff was very helpful with recommendations. My room was a very good size and comfortable. Well supplied with coffee, glasses, towels etc.
