The suite in the restored 112 year old home was well done, nicely furnished with a private deck, a few metres from the ocean. Wonderful breakfasts different each day and the dinners were excellent. The tides of the Bay of Fundy provide an ever changing seascape and the ferries come and go like clockwork.

This property looks out onto the bay from the upstairs rooms and the diningroom. It is also about a 3 minute drive to the Ferry to the mainland. We really enjoyed visiting with both Linda and Kevin, the owners. The breakfast was wonderful. We were given the option to have dinner in the evening chosen from a fixed menu. We took the dinner option two of the four days we were there and really enjoyed it!

Historic, well furnished and maintained inn with a friendly staff. We loved our room with a loveseat and refrigerator. It was very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were good.We hope to go back!

Compass Rose is a well kept charming historical inn. our bedroom Calico had a comfortable bed, sofa, bedside reading lights and spacious bathroom. It also had a refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast was included with an entree and fruit. Supper was available and it was OK ( but I know of no better choice on the island.) The island is magnificent!

Sweet room, perfect location, lovely breakfast. We also had dinner in the dining room and it was excellent!

Great to have a vegan choice for breakfast— delicious oatmeal with blueberries, and almond milk for coffee. Dining room is beautiful, with a view of the water, and there was also a vegan choice for dinner. The most comfortable pillows I’ve ever found at an inn— slept like a baby. Nice common room with books and comfy chairs.

The location was easy to find, impeccably clean and surpassed our expectations. The hot breakfast added value and the fish dinner was one of the best we’ve ever had.

Located close to the ferry, this historic inn was wonderful from the very minute we arrived. Linda provides a very warm welcome and the most delicious breakfasts of our trip. Our room had lovely views of the harbour. We sat in comfy chairs there sipping tea and watching the tide roll in. So lovingly restored and kept, this inn has lots of lovely antiques that provide the atmosphere and modern pieces (bathroom) that allow for comfort.
