Staff/owners (?) we absolutely lovely. Our room was perfect for our family, spacious and extremely clean.
Bathroom was beautiful and large and possibly the best shower we’ve ever had!
Very good experience overall, we appreciate the short stay!
Yackandandah

The room was spacious and very comfortable. A great value for the price. The owner was most accommodating; he told us about the area and recommended places to eat in town. Not to mention his friendly little dog which was happy to receive lots of attention!

The property is around 9.1 km from North Geelong Train Station, 5.2 km from Simonds Stadium Geelong and 5.4 km from Kardinia Park. National Wool Museum is 6.7 km from the inn and Geelong Art Gallery is 6.8 km away. Beautiful decor, very stylish and clean, easy check in process, room was fully equipped.
Bright

It was close to the centre of town but also quiet. The hosts were helpful and friendly, the TV smart, internet good and the bed was comfortable

The castle itself was amazing. Entry into the attraction came with the accommodation, that was good. The tavern open for dinner and drinks was great.
Loved that once we arrived we didn’t have to leave the premises for dinner. The tavern had delicious food.
It’s a beautiful historic inn very comfortable
The property was a home away from home for us with everything we needed for a comfortable and private 6 night stay. The cottage is located at the rear of an ex-guest house, now home to the welcoming owner (whom we met) and family. Easy 15 or so minutes walk into Healesville and 20 minutes’ drive from family in the Yarra Valley. Meal at ‘Innocent Bystander’ and visit to Four Pillars Distillery a must!
We’ve stayed before but was a few years ago. They allow you to bring your pets, which is great, with a grass area opposite rooms for them to run and play. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast provisions were also great. They are opposite a tavern for evening meals (but it closes early so don’t hope for a late dinner). Rooms look like they’ve been recently renovated too, which was a nice surprise.
The owner, manager, reminded me of the ancient art of a great innkeeper hotelier. His interest in and care for clients was quite unique and much appreciated. Otherwise, the location, cleanliness, space, kitchen, balcony were much appreciated.
Great amenities, this is a guest house.....individual bedrooms with ensuite, communal living areas and kitchen. Kitchen equipped for breakfast (supplied) and available if you want to prepare your own lunch/dinner. Lounge spaces are very welcoming with books, magazines, games. This has a very "welcome home" feel.
When I dropped off the key the Innkeeper said he had cleaned my front and back windscreens, which was very appreciated as we had been on the road for a week from Brisbane.
We stayed in a cabin which was spacious enough for a family of 3 - also within walking distance to the tavern which made dinner easier
