Everything about this hotel was amazing! Freshly roasted coffee every week, breakfast included, spectacular, picturesque location and the owner was very kind and helpful. If you’re debating booking this- don’t! It’s a beautiful little town and this is the perfect place to stay!

I love to come back here any time I'm driving from Germany to Romania, it's an amazing view from my room due to the Danube. I enjoy the variety of breakfast and the kindness of the owners, very beautiful people.

Located in Weitenegg on the Danube River, Wirtshaus Gruber offers direct access to the Danube Bicycle Trail and the Way of Saint James. I stayed there with my 80 years old Dad and just can't be grateful enough for all the hospitality, helpfulness and kindness with which they have treated us. We spent an amazing 4 days there. The breakfast was great, big selection of everything. There's also a restaurant where you can have lunch or dinner, very very tasty. If we come back this place will be definitely our choice again. Thanks again!
