Family owned business with super welcoming hosts, nice and clean rooms,bigger in size, restoran with terrace for evening drinks or breakfest coffee, seperate entrances for rooms from garden where kids could play and ypu can sit on chairs and rest, nice parking and fresh breakfest with local food and homemade jams.Peacfull place where to stay when inbetween bigger cities but close enough to highway so can fast get where you need to. Definitely recommend and will return if roads lead this way in future.

Boasting a terrace, restaurant and views of mountain, Altenbergerhof is situated in Neuberg an der Mürz, 14 km from Rax. What an amazing little family hotel. The room was great with amazing view of the mountains surrounding the town. Breakfast was amazing with large variety. We absolutely loved our stay there. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

We stayed 3 nights during the Austrian F1 Grand Prix at the Redbullring and it was perfect. Great location (less than 1-hour drive), very nice room (modern and spotlessly clean) and the owners were really friendly. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Alpengasthof Grobbauer enjoys a scenic mountain location in Oppenberg, a 15-minute drive from the centre of Rottenmann. The restaurant has a terrace and serves classic Styrian dishes. Great place, clean and comfortable. There was an option for a dinner which was great and a good breakfast. View was amazing.
