Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Everthing was clean and comfy ,the staff were very friendly .The dinner and breakfast was high quality and not expensive and our doggie was also welcome in the restaurant . The microwave and fridge was a plus point .
Fantastic property. The gardens were beautiful with so much for the kids - treehouse, trampoline, ducks, donkeys, bunnies. There is an awesome cozy pub. We ate dinner at the restaurant - food and service were great!
This is the perfect place to stay if you are travelling with a dog. They could not be more welcoming and actually have a doggy menu. The room was basic but comfortable and there were hot blankets on the beds. It is almost exactly half way between Durban and Johannesburg so a perfect stop over. We had dinner and breakfast and both meals were excellent. The service is very good too.
Wow what an unexpected find. So welcoming, warm and comfortable. The meals were awesome, the people friendly and helpful, the gardens beautiful and the donkeys were just the cherry on the top of the lovely inn, remincent of a story book english inn.
We
were welcomed when we arrived and shown to our room. Management and staff very helpful. Had a great dinner and breakfast. Restaurant had a nice fireplace to keep us warm as it was pretty cold at night. Room had a small heater and electric blanket which made the room very toasty and comfortable.
I can recommend the dinner as well as the breakfast to anyone who wish to stay at Oban Guest Farm. The staff and owners were friendly and hospitable. The guest house is away from the busy road which makes it a perfect place if you want to have a bit of "me-time".
