I loved the view, the peace and quiet, the location is great, exceeded my expectations. The inside fireplace was the winner for my family & I, absolutely loved every minute spent at valley lakes. Host was very helpful, kind & friendly.
Craig was an exceptional host! He went above and beyond what was expected! A great rustic spot that is close enough to the to the town to get supplies but far enough so that you feel away from a city life.

The accommodation, the food and the staff, everything was exceptional. The staff was very helpful and pleasant, the breakfast and dinner very tasty and we had a bedroom. The view from the room was great, and the big fire in the lounge made the lodge very homely and warm.
Many excursions to choose from, but just walking in the area and relaxing with a book, was great
We love the room with the outside terrace the seating area inside and outside is very good. As the bathroom is in the room, it was nice to have a separate toilet.
The shower and the bath were good, but the small basin doesn't have a good mirror and light, just a small mirror you can place close.
Our host Thandi was very helpful. We booked dinner on the day of arrival and it was so good, we enjoyed dinner there on the other 2 nights as well. We left a sweater, and the owner was very helpful, she sent it to us by courier.
Awesome place hospitality was tops, love the cabin nice and rustic.
