Our private Chef Sydney (apologies if I've spelt it incorrectly) was incredible, very helpful and fantastic chef, fantastic location and very spacious room (we had the largest suite) and 3 meals a day cooked by Sydney were great Place was clean, very welcoming, and hosted amazing views. Facilities were excellent. Very safe area, having to pass through 2 manned checkpoints to get to the Guest house was reassuring

Beautiful and rustic accomodation overlooking the dam. We had a lovely and peaceful stay. The fishing was also great.

This is a true hidden Gem on the Vaaldam . The owners are amazing people and will go out of their way to make you feel at home. The fishing was fantastic! The cottage is modern and the Finnishes are better than most 5 star hotels. I will definitely book another trip and take my wife along as this is an amazing place for a romantic get away .

Marie was a good host, very friendly with her staff. The place accommodate both kids and adults, breakfast and dinner was great...big ups to the chef. They all made us feel at home and every time they will ask if we were okay or need anything. Thank you all.

The place was easy to find. It's more of a backpacker's than a guest house. You get what you pay for?

Great tranquil location, away from the city. It is very remote, no shops or restaurants near by. Dining can be arranged by the guest house. The plots are in an access controlled area by security gate and guards.

Tranquillity at its best 🌟. We've received exceptional service, more than what we envisaged. The food was delicious, fresh and well presented (breakfast, Lunch and Dinner). The staff was well organised and friendly😀.

This is a great budget location to explore the Vaal dam. It has self-catering facilities and great staff. Would stay again at Quinnest again. Recommended!

The couple is very accomodative and makes you feel special and welcomed. They give you all their attention and went an extra mile because it was my wife's birthday. The breakfast was nice and you can also order dinner which was prepared by the owner. We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely come back
