Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
I used Southern Sun as a base for my five week African holiday, staying there each time O flew between countries. The hotel is situated minutes from the International airport making it a perfect location if you are catching early flights.
Staff members are always helpful & obliging and the welcome drink is a nice surprise. Buffet breakfasts and dinners are delicious. Rooms, internet and television reception are all very good. The bedside lamps made reading easy at night and the showers are always hot.
Rooms were spacious and clean. Check in was easy. Both dinner and breakfast had great options. Staff was friendly and helpful with any questions we had.
Close to the airport and has a free shuttle bus that runs throughout the day. It's also close to some restaurants to eat out for dinner.
Staff at reception were friendly and helpful.
Laundry service is available and they were very kind and got my clothes back to me in just 3 hours.
The room is small but comfortable and clean and the bathroom was very nice.
As a solo female traveler in Joburg, I felt safe staying at this hotel.
We stayed two nights at the beginning and again the end of our holiday. Reliable airport shuttle. A guest house with number of ensuite rooms and central dinning/Wi-Fi area. Rooms comfortable. Best part is felt very safe and secure. Shops within walking distance. Zintle, Princess, Joy and Justice were great staff, nothing was too much trouble. Dinner and breakfast on time, served with a smile. Will be back, Thanks.
Excellent guest house that exceeded expectations. When our travel plans unexpectedly changed, we found ourselves here for over a week. We honestly could have stayed longer. Location is very convenient, with free shuttle from the airport. Rooms are spotless, lots of towels, lots of pillows, reliable electricity, great wifi, tea and coffee available all day. Breakfast and dinners are fantastic! Loved the big grassy lawn area. Staff all very helpful!
