Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Great lodge to relax in the lobby area with a fireplace. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant had an excellent dinner menu. Salmon was exceptional. Rooms are a little dated but large and clean. Beds very comfy.
Duck inn is located on a beautiful serene river, yet walking distance to downtown Whitefish. We spent many mornings and afternoons on our deck watching the nature and families tubing down the river. Our room was amazing, the breakfast had many options and the staff was super friendly.
The innkeepers were really helpful and friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was very good and all the added extras (fridge of cold drinks, hot drinks, snacks and homemade biscuits and cake), were lovely touches. The lodge is situated within walking distance of Whitefish town centre.
This is my go-to spot when I'm in Whitefish. The Duck Inn is in a beautiful and tranquil location and Mark and staff go out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful stay. The beds are very comfortable and the homemade breakfast is the best! Every time I've had a wonderful visit! I'll be back!
The staff, room, facilities, breakfast were all excellent!!! The bed was very comfortable with soft sheets. We’ve stayed in 5 Star that didn’t compare to the Pinelodge. We also went for dinner at Abruzzo Italian Restaurant. Again, we’d highly recommend Abruzzo, as well. It was better than Italy!
Chalet Inn was a bonus find in an expensive city for lodging. The price was reasonable and only about a mile (10 min drive) to downtown. It is newly remodeled (perhaps some rooms are still being remodeled?). The beds were comfortable, the room quiet and the staff friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleverly decorated with items that make the place feel more like a B&B than a roadside motel. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
The owners were great and made excellent recommendations for dinner.
