Taber Inn, hotel in Westerly

Located 1 mi from the Mystic Seaport, the Taber Inn in Mystic, Connecticut is 2297 feet from Williams Beach Park.

Nice centrally located property. Very friendly receptionist at check-in, who gave us a great recommendation on where to eat. We each appreciated the cup of coffee, muffin/pastry and fruit delivered to our room for breakfast each morning - a very pleasant surprise! Very close and convenient to the Mystic Seaport Museum which we thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed the facility and location. The private beach and parking pass made it a winning choice. The facility iis very pretty and comfortable. An added Bonus was the inclusion of breakfast, which included: coffee, juice, bagels etc., all available first thing in the Morning . The Staff were lovely, and the. Facility was well manicured. A nice spot.

The hotel is exceptional! Clean, quiet and the perfect location! Breakfast and dinner in the Seaside Cafe at the hotel was wonderful. The food was great, a large variety of choices of not just food but wine as well, and reasonably priced. All of the staff were friendly, personable and extremely helpful. We truly had a memorable stay!

Location was ideal. Staff very attentive. Dinner selection enough! Dinner delicious. We’ve stayed at Breezeway (sister hotel) in the past. We knew our stay at Hotel Maria was not going to disappoint.

We stayed in the Rosa room, which has its own entrance and was quiet and private. The room was a little dated, but nice and clean. Bed and linens very comfy and plenty of towels already in the room. Breakfast options each day included one special, choice of bacon/sausage, eggs, granola / yogurt/ fruit, various toasts. Frig with beer, hard seltzers, and soft drinks always available and room frig was stocked with water. The innkeepers were great.

Daily our room was very well cleaned with fresh towels. Our request for four bath towels each day was met; being outside all day (not at the beach), at the end of the day we needed a good shower to get clean. We enjoyed waking up to the sun rising over the golf course and the very short walk to the Venice Restaurant for drinks and dinner.

The man at the reception desk was incredibly rude, unhelpful and dismissive. We have visited many times in the past will never never go back to Winnipeg again.
