Had a great time with my family at the treehouse. It was a rainy weekend and the river was too high to get in, so we just enjoyed the property and fed the barnyard animals. It was a peaceful place and enjoyable weekend for everyone.
We did cook a full dinner and breakfast. We used the outdoor grill, which was so nice to have. While the kitchen is certainly small, it accommodated our needs just fine.
The Hotel was great. Made all other Motel 6s look like ancient INNs. The manager on duty was awesome . We got to talking and we had so much in common. I'm very proud to have met him. We stayed for our 24th anniversary night. He surprised us with a upgrade. No one has ever even sent us a card in my own family. This great man did a free upgrade for us. I had a Dr. Visit in Weatherford and did not get good news but this small surprise made us feel loved. Thank you to all the staff and owner/ Managers of Weatherford Motel 6.
