Comfort Inn, hotel in Walnut Creek

Comfort Inn is a 3-star property located in Antioch. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace.

The cleaning service entered our room while we were gone and took our personal belongings, when questioned about where our items were, they had the nerve to ask me if was I sure, that all my belongings were missing. I became VERY hostile and a young African American woman who claimed to be the supervisor informed me that she was told our room (booked Fri- Sun, extended over) was listed as a "checkout" AFTER I re-reserved our room, had the keys updated, etc.. I said okay so correct me if I'm wrong if that was the case WHAT IS THE POLICY ONCE ENTERING A ROOM AND FINDING PERSONAL BELONGINGS LEFT BEHIND? I said bagging them and returning them to the front for lost and found correct, and she agreed. The question is why was this not done with my items? A housekeeper came by with bag number 1, a partial of my missing items as if that was all they had, I became upset again questioning where is the rest, they acted as if language was becoming a barrier with the housekeepers, 10 mins later a 2nd bag was produced, again missing items, including my BRAND NEW bottle of Dusse (Liquor bottle worth $70), I became VERY upset again, the housekeeper left and returned with my damn bottle...Items STILL missing...and what do you know...Them Mfks were going to try to keep ALL of my belongings I had just purchased for the stay. I want to be refunded for my stay as I took a loss, and endured pain and suffering, and emotional stress stemming from this situation. No one ever apologized or asked what they could do to rectify or make the situation better. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, BAD LOOK ON FUTURE CHOICE HOTELS AND THEIR STAFF!!!!!!!!

I always stay at the Diablo Mountain Inn when visiting my mom :) The rooms are ample in size with very clean bathrooms. The people there are great, and it's a short drive to all of the restaurants and shopping in Walnut Creek. Do recommend!!

Healthy and delicious breakfast that was complimentary due to some confusion about the package. Large gym with many exercise options was a bonus. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was great.

We had a little hiccup with our reservation (one that was completely our fault). Chance bent over backwards to help us. And with a smile. And dressed for the holidays! She’s got the patience of a saint. The room was exactly as described. Really comfortable king bed in our room and everything was spotless. The Inn Is convenient to everything. I would hands down stay here again.

This Inn is quaint, cozy, comfy, and quiet with simple but appreciated amenities as helpful as coffee condiments and bedside facial tissues. It's perfect as a romantic getaway. The baths/showers boast plenty of hot water.

Breakfast was good with a wide variety of options. We had dinner one night in the bar and that's good as well. It was nice to have two drinks each night in the lounge. The valet parking was quick. The room was comfortable and spacious.
