That little fart of wind called Debbie came through so all Florida state campgrounds were evacuated and closed..... All around nice people to deal with..... This was going to be the first trip I've made in the Winnebago since I purchased it, unfortunately I miss judge the height and width by 8 in each way, ran into the corner of the gutter.... How did that song go, gloom despair and agony on me, if it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all.... LOL Above ground and sober😎✌️🌴
I go to Venice often maybe 8 times a year. Island sun inn is by far the best value in the area. The staff is always polite and respectful. The amenities are exactly what I need and offered at an unmatched value.
It's always clean gorgeous view beach is right across the street always always quite week day or weekend. Highly recommend spending the few extra dollars to stay here A LOT OF THE OTHER HOTELS ARE EXTREMELY OUTDATED!!!!! Pictures are yrs old and establishments are junk. Just skip the rest and stay at INN AT THE BEACH 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 QUALITY!
Great location. You can walk to the beach but we are a family of 4 so we would drive the 1 minute down the street and park closer since it was free parking at the beach. The beach also had a snack/drink stand. The resort was quiet and the pool was great. After a long day of swimming we would walk across the street and get dinner Ice cream coffee etc. Looking forward to returning next year.
The room was extremely clean and the air was nice and cool inside. The pool was also Crystal clear and clean as well. The location was excellent, a 5 minute drive to the beach where we were able to gather over 300 shark teeth. You can't beat the price, this is our third visit and we brought some friends. They love the location and we all will be back soon to Island Sun Inn & Suites.
The room was comfortable, the chairs are usually un comfortable, we both said these are the most comfortable we've had in a long time! We go on a trip every month for three days, just to enjoy each other. We most always stay at a hampton inn. we are booked at a HI in brooksville in august can't wait!
Not as good as it’s been in past. Been coming yearly for about 8 years. Breakfast was missing granola and hot oatmeal. Which they have always had. Get your own coffee and food and still had to leave 18% tip. He did nothing but gave us the bill and cleared table. People hanging around in pool who are locals but don’t stay there. Dinner was delicious!
We were warmly welcomed and given a tour of the property. The owner is very kind and even helped us with a wheelchair repair. This inn about a three minute drive to the beach and the city. The whole property is beautiful and has an old-world feel while still providing modern amenities. I would totally stay here again.
