The property needs lots of attention. There was no staff on site. The tavern and restaurant was closed. The original room given to me was literally uninhabitable. It smelled like a dead animal. After reaching someone on the phone my room was changed and it was a bit better, however, there were dead bugs in the windows and the paint was chipping.
The bedding was comfortable but do yourself a favor and drive up the road ten minutes for a much better hotel/inn

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Just what we needed to unplug and relax. Hill Farm Inn is a beautiful retreat surrounded by nature and a calmed environment. The place is just perfect and very cozy. The room was spotless, and the fireplace in the main building amazing. We spent a weekend with our son, and enjoyed feeding the alpacas and visiting the farms nearby. We'll be back!
The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly. Even their restaurant staff was amazing. Special mentions belong to the bartender, Olivia; the inn's breakfast chef, Maria; front desk staff, Abby and forgotten the check out person who told us to come back and enjoy the farm in it's glory in July and August.
We stopped in Vermont on our way to Maine. This was a last minute decision and what a great one. The property had so much to do. You are close to Manchester to walking, shopping and great dinner locations. If you are considering this place you won’t regret it.
The inn was impeccable. My room was cozy and clean. The living room was beautiful and cozy with the fireplace going. The breakfast was delicious. The restaurant associated with the farm was outstanding - it was one of the best meals that I have ever had.
Our stay was fantastic from the super comfortable bed/bedding and clean room to the delicious home cooked breakfast with eggs right from their chickens and wonderful homemade granola (they should sell their granola!), we could not have asked for more on our quick getaway to Manchester for dinner. The host was gracious, responsive, and attentive. He started a great big fire for us in in the back which is set up in case you want to have some drinks and smores. We WILL definitely stay here again.
Room is super clean, staff is very friendly, and serving fresh fruits and made to order eggs for breakfast. The lodge also offered homemade pizza for dinner at very reasonable price and was very tasty. The dining room is open 24/7 for coffee or tea during the stay. Great internet connection for streaming. This will be the go to lodge for our Stratton ski weekends!
Great and quiet place. Besides the pizza for dinner and free breakfast with fresh fruits and delicious omelette is fantastic.
And we met into a strong storm so we had to leave our vehicle into the ski resort, but in the morning the host drove us to the resort, really thanks for the kindness.
The owner was very friendly. When we came back after dinner , there was a beautiful, blazing fire outside in their fire pit. Loved their chickens, too!
