Looking for an inn?
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.

We almost always stay at Simsbury Inn when we drop off and pick up our son from U of Hartford. It's not the closest or least expensive but it is very convenient to the school and always gives us good service and comfortable rooms. We've tried other hotels in the area but while some are very nice, they aren't conveniently located.

I have stayed at the Simmsbury Inn for the past 7. Yeate while visiting family. The staff recall this and welcome me back.

The location served our purpose, while our home was going through a renovation. The pub was excellent, good food, drink and the staff was welcoming and friendly. The free continental breakfast was also very good with plenty of nutritious food. The Inn was very nice, well appointed and common areas represented New England and the local community very well.

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. This is a classic (large) New England bed and breakfast inn and with that comes the charm and shortcomings of an antique facility. This inn could use some maintenance.

My check-in was wonderful because of Kai: she is lovely, and was so helpful in providing dinner options. The day staff was also great. Wasn't expecting the wine and welcome hour, so that was fun, and the wine was one that I usually buy, a great choice. Loved my room, esp. the bathroom. I appreciated the window and in-wall heater. I also coveted the hand towels!

This was a lovely property. Historic and well appointed. Our room was on the top floor and was HUGE. I loved the four post bed (which was very comfortable) and the ornate floor length mirror. The rate was very reasonable for such a beautiful inn.
