Looking for an inn?
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.

No breakfast on sight but a little restaurant across the street offered wonderful food and libations at reasonable prices! I ate there for breakfast lunch and dinner and all had excellent selections. It's called Wickie's and I would highly recommend it.

The bikes provided were our transportation to the beach, to dinner, and to our town tour. This was perfect for our anniversary stay.

The Inn was close to the beach. The bed was comfortable. Room had a kitchen area if you wanted to cook. The outside area had multiple areas to sit and relax. We loved that it had beach towels, chairs, an umbrella and a cart to take to the beach. We had a wonderful time

The inn was wonderful! The staff went above and beyond, and were very friendly! They provided all the additional equipment you could possibly need; bikes, beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, shelling equipment, coolers, filtered water, etc. They also had lovely outdoor lounge areas, including two hammocks, several lounge chairs, two outdoor grills, and an outdoor shower! The location is perfect, we are partial to that area and it is right down from where we rented for several years! We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

There is nothing to dislike about the Island Inn. The beach is just steps away and if you're looking for shells or fishing its there. The room was spacious and very clean with good amenities. The Inn was close to great restaurants, nature trails and more. Ken at the front desk was amazing taking the time to explain everything about the property and things to see on the island.

I was so impressed with the comfort and cleanliness of my studio. The owners have also done a wonderful job of providing lots of thoughtful extras that go above and beyond a typical beach inn. Everything from plenty of towels, easy access to bikes to inviting sitting areas scattered through the property make this a special and charming place to stay on the east end of Sanibel.

We loved everything about the inn. The decor was cute. The shell cleaning station was a nice thing to use. Our cottage was very clean and comfortable.

clean both inside and out. Well maintained landscaping. Our studio was spacious and quiet. Everything we used worked. Kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom met all our needs. We walked to Traders for dinner and 7-11 to buy coffee and food. The beach is 20 minutes walk from Kona Kai & we appreciated Kona Kai’s free parking when we discovered Sanibel beach parking is now $5 an hour. The employees are friendly and generously provided us with extra sachets for the coffee maker in our studio.
