Had the pool to ourselves which was magic. Apartment was a great size and had everything we needed. Quiet street but 3 minutes walk to bars and shops.
On street parking was ideal as they charge extra to park on the property - odd!
Had to do out of hours check in and out so missed our host but when we broke a bowl the cleaner was so helpful and friendly.

Breakfest was ok. Staff did a great job filling up when needed. The hotel is close to a trainstation. Quick to get into San Diego by car and it's also close to a beach park.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Let’s face it. This isn’t a 50 story on the water property. It’s inexpensive clean extremely accessible fun property, especially for kids. There’s no drama. I’ve been staying there since the 90s and the linens and towels may not come pressed and steamed on a big giant truck. They’re done in house, which makes it even nicer, I’ll continue to stay at the kings inn for all my future visits to San Diego until I can finally move there.
The location of the inn is close by all the attractions we went to. The room was perfect for a family of six. My kids love the pool and parking, which is alright.

You can see the beach from your room. My room had a balcony. We had dinner on the balcony, which was cool and cute! The beach is like a hop, skip, and jump away. It has a rustic feel and they have a food truck! If you have a dog you can bring your dog. I was impressed that this is a dog friendly hotel and area, but it doesn't smell like dogs. Amazing location, amazing price! There's is a very active social scene at night.
