Country Inn & Suites on Plantation Road, Roanoke VA is very convenient as our road trip stopover from NYC to Georgia as it was very close to I 81 South. I loved our clean room and the bed & beddings were very comfortable. We were able to get a good night's sleep after a day of driving.
The hot breakfast buffet was not bad either.
We had cocktails in the Bar when we arrived. We ended up moving to a High Top and staying for dinner. Food,Cocktails, atmosphere and wait staffwere Excellant !! Enjoed it very much !!!
This Day's Inn exceeded the other Day's Inn we have stayed in. We usually have pet, and we usually stay in Dasy's inn or Red Roof. Great value for the money we spent.
The location is convenient but the rooms aren't as nice as the website portrays. The smell in the room was overwhelming. My boyfriend and I were out for a night away and the smell was so bad that we drove back home at 2am. Unfortunately, we will not be staying at this quality inn ever again. The locals call the hill that it's located on "crack hill". That's a negative ghost rider... I'm not your huckleberry".
The foyer is amazingly beautiful. We were greeted by name by the best concierge I’ve ever had in a hotel. He told us all about the hotels history. We ate a late dinner in the bar restaurant, fireside, and it was delicious. I wish we had more time to check out the rest of the property!
