There was no breakfast. The castle is old—lots of gorgeous wainscoting—a fascinating history—and ghosts! Perfect! The restaurant in the hotel was excellent!!!

This is an amazing historical hotel in the most charming location. The restaurant is excellent and the setting is unforgettable. Parts of the hotel, especially in the lodge, are rustic, so it's only a good choice for travelers who experience an amazing locale and historic environment over all modern comforts. The staff is personable and goes the extra mile for guests.

Our room (#1) has a beautiful view: comfortable bed, clean, and quiet. Minutes away from nice restaurants.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
This is a very atmospheric hotel. Old heritage building so no air conditioning in room but fans were supplied. My friends and I loved it. The Mexican restaurant/lounge served good food and drinks and were very friendly . We had dinner there both nights,my friend has celiac disease and they were very accommodating and reassuring.
Fun historic inn with interesting architecture and fun history to explore. A good mexican restaurant is in the bldg however we did not eat there (we learned this from several people staying there).
It wasn’t quite in the main area, so it was quiet. All the rooms seem to have their own balcony, which was fantastic for a glass of wine in the evening overlooking the marina. Clean room, and comfortable bed. Breakfast had a few options, waffles, hard boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt and various breads like bagels, English muffins and cinnamon bread. Enough to get you by in the morning.
The Inn is well situated on the bay so the views are amazing. It's about a 15 walk to the historic district, but there are also good restaurants nearby if you don't feel like walking that far
Room was older but clean. Microwave, 1/2 fridge, a few dishes and glasses provided. I bought dinner at the pizza shop and co-op grocery at the bottom of the hill from the property most nights then warmed it up in the room.
The staff was extremely nice and efficient.
The hotel is beautiful. We had the split level room which has basically a full sized kitchen with all the essentials for a beautiful in-room dinner. The room is perfect if you were staying for maybe a week. Port Townsend is a quaint town, but I didn’t get to spend enough time there. Would definitely stay there again. No spooky spirits though. Maybe next time.
Loved the room decor, location and size. We will definitely be returning to "Miss Genevieve." And the dining recommendations were great--loved both The Silverwater Cafe for dinner and Point Hudson Cafe for breakfast!
