For what looks like a standard motel, this place has little touches that punch above its weight. Friendly staff, good breakfast including good coffee, cute outdoor seating areas (chairs on balcony outside breakfast room, Adirondack under a tree, might even be some by the creek), local newspapers.
We were able to walk Downtown (maybe 15-20 minutes), though there are also some nice restaurants just down the block.
This hotel is located just 2 minutes' walk from Oceano State Park and 1.5 miles from Pismo State Beach Golf Course. It features a hot tub and suites with a kitchen.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Loved the location! The Inn was updated very nicely. The pool was great and clean. The hot tub was perfect for cool mornings and evenings. Access to the beach was a big plus. Beds comfy.
The room was large, bright, clean, and comfortable. Every room at the inn is right on the bluffs with a great view of the great variety of sea birds. It’s a fairly easy walk to a secluded cove. And, importantly, the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Loved the calm cliffside location with spectacular ocean views & promenade to the beach, outside the hustle & bustle of Pismo pier. The 2nd floor ocean view King with balcony was worth the extra expense. And the outdoor fire pits were perfect for post dinner relaxation & s’mores which my kid loved. Had a wonderful 4th of July family vacation- thank you!
Awesome location right on the beach. Can watch sunset from spa and pool. Nightly fire pit seating to sit outside. Freshly baked chocolate chip cookies every day from 3pm. Could order dinner to be delivered to swimming pool location.
Our stay at the Inn at the Cove was outstanding. The ocean view was gorgeous but more than that the entire area is so peaceful. If you are looking for a place where you can relax and at the same time enjoy the beautiful views without having to deal with large crowds then this is the right place to stay. We look forward to staying here again.
First of all the location was very localized near the 101 easy access on and off the freeway the rooms were exceptionally clean, plenty of towels, pool clean very private quiet I love the restaurant that was so convenient in the mornings for coffee and and luncheon possibly dinner if we ended up there in the evening The staff was great very friendly
The location was perfect. Close to PB Pier, but far enough away from the crowds. Breakfast was great, no mater what time you got there. The Inn is very clean and staff is always willing to help with anything.
