The staff were truly kind and helpful. Despite the stress caused by my delayed and canceled flight, I was able to have a relaxing time at the Residence Inn.

The room and staff was very nice. We went to dinner at he sports bar and they food was excellent. There was a gentleman there that was apart of the staff that saved a child's life. No joke. The child was choking and he was able to assist and save the child.

I absolutely adore the decor at Kimpton Hotels. Always unique and interesting. Very comfortable room. I was in Philadelphia for July 4th. You couldn't have a better location for exploring the history in old downtown. Independence Hall is across the street. I could walk to anything I wanted to see. Also, this location had their own restaurant on site. The Red Owl Tavern served breakfast, brunch, lunch, happy hour and dinner. The food was exceptionally good.

The breakfast was very good. But there was no dining for dinner. i was told by staff that we could use the restaurant in the neighboring hotel,, none in yours. But that other hotel only served brunch for Sunday...no service for dinner. We ate at a fast food down the street that closed at 6pm.

The building, its history, the decor, the attention to details, and its location relative to our plans were GREAT. We rode bikes on the Schuylkill river and walked to dinner at Amada. The hotel is only 1.1 miles from the river trailhead (with dedicated bike lanes to get you there and back) and we were only 1 mile from Amada. The person-less check in was surprisingly easy and the text communications were VERY thorough. We also used the parking garage closest to the hotel and that couldn't have been more convenient.

The breakfasts were delicious, and they were extremely accommodating of my gluten allergy! The innkeeper, Craig, and innkeeper-in-training, Joe, were incredibly warm and engaging. They made me feel like I was staying with friends. They were extremely gracious when I arrived a bit earlier than expected, too!
