Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Staff was excellent. They worked with us to find a room that accommodated my wife's disabilities. Originally, they had us on the second floor. The inn doesn't have an elevator, and climbing the stairs is impossible for her. The move the room assignments around and were able to place us on the first floor next to handicap parking.
We enjoyed the warm breakfast and easy access to the breakfast for guests. The restaurant on the premise also served dinner which was also delicious. All staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large with all the basic necessities. Great location from Yosemite south entrance and Bass Lake. We would return again.
Good size room, with all the facilities described. Pool area and ice machine. Parking near the room. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Good restaurant dinner recommendations
Breakfast was good. I didn’t realize it was 1 hr away before booking. The name The Oakhurst Inn at Yosemite is misleading. But then again it was a last minute booking and I should have checked how far away it was from Yosemite.
Amazing location; lovely big room for a family of 4. SO CLEAN! Pristine! Tea & coffee facilities in room, fridge, great little gym room & 2 pools. Lovely little balcony & we could see deers!! Great location, just 30 mins from park entrance. East walk long distance to fresh sushi & Mexican for dinner. Awesome & generous continental breakfast. Super friendly & helpful staff. Cindy beds. Highly recommend.
We expected a budget (relatively speaking) hotel close to the Yosemite entrance. The Oakhurst Inn met this expectation.
