It was my milestone birthday celebration. I always wanted to stay here a night and enjoy dining room tasting menu. The staff were all so great, friendly and helpful. Never been during winter season but so calm & private compare to summer time which was nice. Room was so elegant and clean. They have downtime service. We had an aperitif at the bar downstairs then had dinner at dining room. Very interesting & fine wine paring experience. Food was just so “right” and enjoy little chat with our waiter who is very knowledgeable. Over all we had such a wonderful time. Any special occasion to celebrate, this is the place to be.

A beautiful historic building. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Location ideal for exploring Newport. Afternoon Cookies were a nice touch. Also, eco friendly, no servicing of room unless requested. Friendly staff.

Clean and beautifully decorated room, walking distance to Downtown area, Cliff Walk and Beach. Staff were great. Inn keeper pleasant. Cathy was awesome and went above and beyond! Breakfast was excellent!
We stayed in the cottage detached from the inn. It was quiet, clean and had nice amenities. The room was comfortable. Easy walk to restaurants and attractions. Plenty of parking in the rear. Nice that they had fresh coffee and breakfast pastries in the morning. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay! Would like to come back one day.
Hotel was very clean. Stuff is friendly and helpful. Location is exceptional in the heart of ‘live’ Newport. Breakfast was good. I think, America’s Cup Inn Newport has everything for excellent stay and enjoy your trip.
Denise was very welcoming, but also gave us our privacy. The Inn is adorable, and our room/bathroom had plenty of space. We booked last minute for a wedding and so happy we stumbled on this Inn.

The Innkeepers where so attentive and welcoming, the breakfast was superb and every little thing in this house seemed like they really care for detail… If you’re looking for a safe and homelike place to stay in Newport this is it, stop looking.
Jailhouse Inn is charming, cozy and friendly. Nice continental breakfast, 10-minute walk to wharf area for shopping and restaurants. Directly across the street from the famed White Horse Tavern.
Absolutely wonderful. Great location. Our suite was comfortable, spacious and charming. The innkeeper, Karen, was delightful. No detail was forgotten. Planning to return to explore more of Newport and stay in this gem.
