Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Kinsey, the receptionist was so welcoming and friendly! She made it feel cozy from the beginning. Also, she had just made chocolate chip cookies and they were still warm and delicious. Breakfast was delicious too! Also enjoyed the historical aspect of the inn. Coffee, tea, and candy available all the time was also very nice. And close to downtown.
Food and amenities were wonderful...Sargent room was very spacious but it could use some renovation..... would gladly recommend the inn to anyone...
Thx again

Clean, cozy and functional inn, perfect for our family of four. Central location was great for exploring the town. Staff members were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Our stay at Clark Currier Inn and Newburyport initially was a randomly picked intermediate stay on our trip to Cape Cod. Both the city and even more the Inn turned out to be a very big positive surprise and we would have loved to stay longer. Clark Currier Inn is a beautiful home with history all over the place that gives it a very special atmosphere. The service is great and we had by far the best breakfast in our stay in the US. Thanks again for your hospitality !
Accommodations were clean. Rooms well appointed. I could not take advantage of breakfast during my first day there but the Second time I stayed there breakfast was Surprisingly variable with lots of options, I would definitely stay at the Essex Inn in Newburyport again and recommend it to my friends and family
The entire Inn was so relaxing. Each room was so different and unique, just beautiful. The beds, sooo comfortable! Breakfast was really good with a great variety. Location was perfect, quiet yet close to town. The host(s) were friendly, warm and inviting. The waterfront was just beautiful, great variety of shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back for some R & R.

2
Followed by a trip
