This property is a very charming little place to stay in the OBX. The property was very clean. It had convenient beach access with beach chairs you could use during your stay. The pool was nice. Rocking chairs, porch swings were spread out over the porch’s for you to sit and relax. There were a lot of amenities, we will definitely be back.
Comfort Inn South Oceanfront is just steps away from the white sands shores of the Atlantic Ocean.

We liked that it was located a little away from the public beaches and was less congested. The staff were very warm and welcoming. We had a great stay.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The home was perfect for our needs, and we loved having two separate levels for sleeping. This allowed us to break up the two families that were traveling together nicely. The living room was spacious, and we loved the reclining chairs. The dining room table and countertop dining provided ample room for everyone to eat at the same time. The kitchen was just right for the number of people (3 adults and 3 kids), and we cooked breakfast and dinners every day with ease.
First Colony Inn is beautifully decorated with old style furnishings. The grounds are well
maintained and walking distance to the beach. The room was well designed to suit a comfortable stay.
The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had a reservation with another hotel that ended up falling through (the other hotel upon booking claimed to be pet friendly but when I got there they said no pets). I had to immediately find another hotel. Comfort Inn was available with reasonable rates and the front office staff were so kind. They even upgraded us to oceanfront which I appreciated since I was with my son and he loved the water.
