The owners of the bed and breakfast were very nice and offered a very tasty breakfast. The room itself was right-sized, although a bit old-fashioned. The location is super relaxed and within easy reach (5 min by car) from the area with restaurants. The garden/gazebo was a nice bonus for a relaxed evening!
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
It was on the ground floor, so there was no need to carry things upstairs. The parking lot was easily accessible from the room, and the inn was only a couple minutes away from the highway.
It was cleaner than I expected and the bed was comfortable. After leaving here, we stayed at what some would consider a little fancier hotel further into our trip, and the beds at the Quality Inn were much better than the fancier hotel. And not because they are old and worn in. The mattresses look rather new. It’s an older slightly dated hotel but very clean. Pool was nice for the baseball team. Young man at the check in desk was great.
Price comparable to Quality Inn down the road. Quality Inn has washer and dryer and a pool. Tulip in doesn't. Quality Inn also has a much better breakfast.
The room was reasonably large and clean. Parking was free with easy access. There were some food options nearby, but had to drive to get a better dinner.
The room reeked of smoke! when I asked if it’s gonna smell like smoke the front staff smirked and said yes. the room had like droppings of cockroaches . what a health hazard! we payed there and had to rent another room at Quality Inn. There were about 50 dirty bed sheets thrown on the second floor when you stepped out the elevator!The staff thought we were gonna pay her 25.00 each additional person. It was horrible!! I regret using booking.com.
I appreciate how welcoming the motel staff is to my dog and how helpful they are. There are lots of nearby options for walking my dog.
Also, the inn is close to several restaurants and shopping locations. The inn is clean with good wifi and a lot of parking spaces.
I have enjoyed my stays at the tulip inn and will continue to stay when in the area.
