Beautiful grounds and inn. Comfy cozy atmosphere with great amenities including game room and heated pool. Excellent homemade breakfast included. Our Hosts Kevin and Karen were very hospitable and catered to every need.
This was a great place for a getaway! The quaint rooms and lovely views from the deck added a tranquility to the atmosphere. The staff were absolutely delightful! The Inn Keeler made us feel welcome and right at home with her warm smile and hospitality.
We enjoyed our delicious breakfast out doors on the deck overlooking the mountain and lake. The lemon ricotta pancakes were absolutely heavenly!
It was charming and the owner was lovely! Our room had everything we needed and was very cozy. The breakfast was phenomenal and the other guests we met made our stay even more special. I highly recommend the Ballard House Inn!
My wife and I booked a 3 days and 2 nights at The Nutmeg Inn. Our experience in the place and with the owners were wonderful. We felt we were back in times with all the antiques and decorations. The owners were super nice and friendly. The home cooked breakfasts were delicious. The house has plenty of games. Outdoor pool and nice yard to relax. It's about 10 mins drive into town. I highly recommend this place. Thank you, Kevin and Karen, for being a wonderful
We were traveling to Laconia NH to see a concert. I wanted to find someplace a bit more special than a standard hotel room since this was a gift for my husband. Ballard House was a perfect romantic getaway. The owner is lovely, the Inn is beautifully restored, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious.
The Nutmeg Inn was close to Meredith without being right in the middle of all the tourists. The property was beautiful and historic. Breakfast was delicious and we loved playing pool with the roaring fire going in the huge fireplace! Thanks to Kevin & Karen for a great stay!
Ballard House Inn is a beautiful 1784 property, beautifully renovated to 2023 standards. It has a lot of history, several rooms, the host is wonderful and very welcoming, breakfast excellent, furnishings lovely and comfortable beds. Peaceful, beautiful surrounds, close to the lakes and good restaurants.
We loved the location; easy walk to restaurants for breakfast & dinner. Also the view of the lake was exceptional.
