Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The staff are very accommodating. The propertt itself is very serene. It's place to disconnect. Their mini fireplace also gives so much character. My family loves it, my dogs love it. They gavee out dog kits which my pet enjoyed. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Mendocinno.
Our little cottage was so quaint and adorable! We loved the little extra touches upon arrival, like a welcome note, a small bottle of wine, dog bowls, and dog treats. We loved the little binder that provided a history of the inn. The fenced yard was very convenient for us to let our dog out to potty, as well. Many times, we saw rabbits in the yard! Luckily, our dog is only interested in smelling the bushes and was unfazed by the rabbit. Also, we absolutely loved the window view over the property/of the ocean. Overall, a cute little stay!!
We were exceptionally pleased with the Agate Cove Inn. Its location, amenities, and thoughtful attention to traveler needs were all better than we expected.
We liked the historic nature of the Inn, our room was quaint and cozy, good light, lots of mirrors for the last check before going out, private bath right outside the room and amazing breakfast in the room that also tastes great despite having gluten and nut allergies. Plenty of warm blankets for chilly Mendocino nights.
The innkeepers were very lovely and left complimentary wine from a local winery. The bed was very comfy and we had a nice small ocean view. There are nearby restaurants you can get food from. It's peaceful and quiet.
