Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Beautiful atmosphere with tropical vibes. It was so nice to wake up to the view of many palm trees and the pool. Breakfast and coffee was delicious. The rooms were spacious. There are so many great restaurants just less than 10min walk. It was so relaxing to just walk to Birdies for breakfast, try neve coffee, eat dinner at SALT. Enjoyed our staycation in the RGV. We would definitely do it again. Very polite staff.
I expected the Texas inn to be close to the mall because that's what the name says in booking and in the descriptions. When I got to the hotel, there is nothing but a gas station nearby, I asked him to change hotels to the other Texas Inn (in the center) he told me that I cannot change to the other Texas Inn (in the center of the city) because I booked through booking and I had to stay there. I didn't like that. But I liked the cleanliness of the hotel.
Like the staff. Like the two meals provided through out our stay. It is very convenient when you have a child who isn’t feeling well and wants to go to Drury Inn to feel better. The all day access to coffee is a major plus for me,the parent.
The staff at Clarion Inn in McAllen is absolutely excellent. Liz at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure my stay was great. David who drove the shuttle was very helpful and also went the extra mile. And Ludy (sp?) who picked me up from the airport was so helpful and courteous - all staff worked hard and did so with a positive attitude and a smile. I would be glad to come back to the Clarion. Also the manager Erik was hardworking and did a wonderful job. Ginnie Berry
Hampton Inn has never disappointed me... So I find it all convenient and good price and all I need every time I stay through out the US. So, well, from room size to comfy beds, to good breakfast, easy check in/out and parking... all great for me!
The hotel was very nice and clean. I liked the style of the hotel. The room was spacious. The Spanish Room Restaurant's food was delicious. We ate dinner and breakfast. I liked the proximity to 17th Street.
