Our room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful..we had a great stay. Fridge, microwave, coffee pot was an added bonus. We were close to many restaurants and attractions. Our next time up this way we will be staying here at The Valley Inn.
Location was perfect for me as I traveled from the great Smokey’s into Pisgah. Bed was comfier than it would have been at the quality inn next door. Area looks a bit sketchy but was actually really safe.
I loved the sitting area on the property. The rocking chairs and swing in the front was nice to sit and read my book. The area in the back of the property was nice to sit and listen to the water rustling in the creek. It was so peaceful. The Valley Tavern provided good food and live bands.
If I could rate this inn as a 20 I would! The best place to stay in North Carolina. I especially love the bathroom. Everything was retro which we really loved. The outside decor was great! Bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. Will definitely come back and stay longer! Thanks for a great stay
The manager/owner was so nice and personable. I know that he recently bought the inn from the couple who used to own it. We also lived the creek running behind the hotel. Unfortunately we could not see or hear it from our room.
The location right next to the creek was wonderful, and the inn itself was cute, but it is in desperate need of an upgrade. The furniture and decor are VERY dated. The room was clean, so that was great, it’s just super dated. The furnishings looked very 80’s. Also, the tv is old and very little. Considering how far away it is from the beds, it was hard to see. The bed itself was comfortable, but the bedding was pretty hot.
Loved the fact the Townhouse was right on river and and had a big covered deck to sit on and take in the scenery.. The Townhouse was at a great location and exceptionally clean. In addition, there was PLENTY of room, very spacious.. Veda Inn and Cottages exceeded our expectations.. Highly recommend..!!
Breakfast was good. One of the reasons we chose the mountainbrook inn.
