Perfect setting with beautiful grounds and very quiet. No traffic noise.
This is the best Country Inn & Suites we have ever stayed in. Staff was friendly and efficient, breakfast was wonderful and the room and common areas were very clean.
We liked that we could walk to Marty's restaurant which had very good food.
The whole experience was outstanding! Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Renee and the person who maintained the buffet on Friday (forgot her name). The people who took care of us at dinner were great, as well, and the food at both dinner and breakfast was delicious.
The Country Inn and Suites is in a great location and the staff was awesome. We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast. We also had fun going to Brenden's Tavern in Lewisburg for dinner.
This hotel was AMAZING. Super clean, the staff was so friendly and helpful. Great rooms and the pool was fantastic. 100% will be looking to stay at Country inn and Suites from now on. The room we had had a separate bedroom from a sitting room area. This was fantastic to have because my baby could sleep while we got ready for the day.
The property was sold to a private buyer and has been closed for several months. I received confirmation emails from Booking.com up to 2 days before traveling. Did not arrive until 11pm and was met with a note on the door that stated the above and "Closed until further notice". If Booking.com is continuing to offer this property on their site, do not book. When, and if, it re-opens, it will not be a Comfort Inn.
Arrived late due to travel circumstance...after 11pm... Manager walked us to our room and opened the door for us...waited and asked if satisfactory (it was)...a girl knocked on our door in the morning and asked if we needed shampoo, or extra towels or anything... very impressed with the old time innkeeper attitude... place is a little time worn, but neat, clean, and comfortable, with exceptional staff.
We didn't get to stay here. 5 days before our stay I received a call from The Hampton Inn saying our reservation had been Transfered. The Comfort Inn never called us. When I called them I spoke with Jennifer the front desk manager. She was not pleasant at all. Just said they were closed to the public until the end of the year. She said they were under exclusive contract and had been since August 1st. When I asked why they never contacted me I didn't get an answer and she didn't offer anything for our inconvenience.
I’ve always stayed here and had dinner, and breakfast, at Country Cupboard Smorgasboard. Sadly, Country Cupboard closed last Fall, so I may not stop in Lewisburg in future.
