Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Excellent breakfast included. Restaurant for dinner on site and food was amazing. The property is beautiful. Very quiet and comfortable. Private mineral hot tubs on site were extremely relaxing
Breakfast and dinners were great. This historic property has been well restored and updated. There are usual challenges with legacy construction details. The building dates from 1914. But, the charm and accommodations by the staff and of the property itself well make up for them.
Been going to lava hot springs a couple times a year for 30+yrs. In all those years I have stayed at two other locations in town. Lava spa motel is the cleanest, most convenient motel, and we try to make it our spot. My only complaint is they are beginning to out price themselves. I realize lodging prices go up, but if this motel continues then we will find alternatives.
The gal that was working Check-In was extremely friendly. Very sociable! Our room was small & we had brought dinner with us when we checked in. I had asked her if we could use the dining room area downstairs to eat- she allowed us to do so. The breakfast was delicious… buffet style and the ladies did a wonderful job.
The location of the Alpaca Inn was fantastic. It was off the main beat and very quiet. Very close to restaurants, the grocery store and the hot tubs at the Lava Hot Springs Inn. Opted not to go to the public hot springs as there were to many people and we would have had to drive to it. The staff was very nice and helped out with all are needs.
The breakfast was amazing!!! Finn was exceptional at running the place and it was such a quaint and vintage place to stay. Loved it and would go back if we did that road trip again.
