Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
We were happily surprised at how spacious the junior deluxe suite was. The views from the room were amazing too with 3-4 small, seasonal waterfalls cascading in the distance on the cliff opposite the motel. Check-in was quick and easy. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and a few other essentials like salt, pepper, dish soap, and towels. Great restaurants were in close proximity. We walked across the street for dinner and drove a few minutes into town for breakfast at a local coffee shop. Would recommend and come again!
Historic Inn. Loved the interior, 360 fireplace, vintage photos. Views and proximity to June Mountain, Carson Peak and June lakes are spectacular. Large room, labeled a condo, but is really a hotel room. Very nice kitchen with full size refrigerator and bar top separating kitchen from sleeping/living area. Front desk staff are excellent, very helpful. Includes outside hot tub, inside sauna. Spend a day on the snow, return for a sauna or spa, then a hot toddy in front of the stone fireplace. Wonderful.
The Inn was delightful and felt very welcoming. The apartment was bigger than I expected and very well equipped. Everything had a sense of quality to it. The staff was lovely. I had a very relaxing stay here for a couple of days.
A great place for a relaxing vacation, away from noisy crowds, We were looking for peace and quiet for a mother-daughter summer vacation, and we had a wonderful time at Heidelberg Inn. The hotel has everything we were looking for, very clean, excellently organized. Plenty of hiking opportunities around the area.
A fantastic inn, the staff were super friendly and it was in a gorgeous setting overlooking June Lake. The town had plenty of places to eat or drink but our room also had facilities to make food. There was a jacuzzi and patio area which we really enjoyed. We also got free root beers and icecream in the evening which we ate beside the lovely fire. On other nights it was advertised there are free movie nights which really added to the family feel of the hotel. Free parking right outside.
Quite a quirky place but we liked it. The pool and spa is lovely. Huge pool and great jacuzzi. Room was spacious and bed comfy. Beautiful surroundings. Dinner at the Eagles Landing restaurant was enjoyable. Waitress was really friendly and interesting, as was the bar tender. All in all a nice stay.
Beautiful old inn with lots of character in a gorgeous setting. Lots of space in the rooms, the ones we stayed in had full kitchens. The second floor rooms facing the mountains have beautiful views.
The facilities are beautiful, our room was next to a fishing pond, nice pool, we ate dinner at the restaurant and they were very considerate of our gf needs, very close to yosemite.
Didn’t have the breakfast. Did have dinner & had
a special dinner on the outside deck with 10 friends.
The food was good and waiter was pleasant & efficient.
