The place is in very bad location, the outside is a construction area. It's remote and confusing to locate, the staff was not friendly, the employees outside by the main entrance smoking and being loud.
The Comfort Inn Downtown is overlooking the Mississippi River and Mud Island River Park. The hotel is located in historic downtown, on the trolley line.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The property was not what accept it to be. When I book this I was told it was in a good area but wasn’t satisfied. The last sleep inn was horrible and they assured me that this wasn’t like that.
I love the breakfast and dinner items, along with the drinks for those staying at the hotel. Makes for an easier time traveling and didn't have to fight traffic or wait for our food, if we had gone to a restaurant. The service at the front desk and in the dining room was exceptional and so friendly. The staff pride themselves on what they do and they should!
Loved that shampoo, conditioner and body wash are available in the shower.
Room was extremely clean upon arrival.
